The State of Ohio Collective (EIN # 85-2593262) implements strategies and plans to solve institutional, structural, and systemic racism in the greater metropolitan areas across the state of Ohio; Akron, Canton, Cleveland,Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, and Youngstown and other targeted regions in interdependent pillars: Economic Development, Education, Health, and The Arts.
The State of Ohio Collective is comprised of leaders from across Ohio, many of whom are products and current leaders of the communities in which they reside. These leaders clearly understand how to serve these communities through their innovative and exceptional skill sets and abilities. Professions among the group includes physicians, therapists, university professors and academics, corporate managers and executives, strategists and fundraisers, community development and faith-based leaders, on air personalities and journalists, government, and nonprofit managers. Members still work in these spaces ensuring collective transformative impact in all cities.
MISSION
The mission of the State of Ohio Collective is to respond to the identified issues and problems of African American based racism and to engage the resources necessary to provide answers and positive outcomes to those issues.
