Born and raised in the Midwest, Damon Reed grew up in Akron, Ohio. Damon Reed is a Transformational Educational Leader, International Consultant, Author & Successful Entrepreneur. Sports were and still are instrumental for Reed in expanding his knowledge of the value of teamwork, navigating loss, and how to manage and overcome obstacles, challenges, and literally clearing hurdles into the next successful race both personally and professionally.
Reed is a graduate of Penn State University with a BA in Education and a MA from Ashland University in Curriculum & Instruction. An educator for over 20 years in the urban school districts in Ohio, he is a recipient of the Teacher of The Year award. Reed is on the Africentric Building Leadership Team. Reed is a stellar assessment and data coach for middle schools, ensuring that staff understands data analytics and the integration and implementation of the school. Additionally, Reed is the CEO of Medley Strategists and a Board Member of STEAAM2, a comprehensive tutoring and assessment business for elementary and middle school students and parents.
Serving as a former High School Track and Field Head Coach for 10 years, several of his school students received track and field scholarships. Reed enjoys sports, reading, exercise, spending time with family and friends, and travel.
