About

The Family Reads program helps fathers and their middle school age children with reading, literacy, and leadership development. It is an empowerment program that engages participants to connect with individuals and resources to help them lead better lives. Participants connect with community leaders who present about their lives and careers through engaging sessions about books that have transformed their lives. Additionally, the program partners with: The State of Ohio NAACP, local schools, existing workforce development programs, metropolitan/regional libraries and Friends of the Library, local government, and the faith community through sacred sector organizations.
