The State of Ohio Collective’s annual State of Black Ohio event focuses on solutions to systemic, structural, and institutional issues in the areas of health, education, economic development, tech, and The Arts. Thought leaders, experts, and elected officials convene to discuss issues affecting Black communities across the state and develop solutions to address them.

Family Reads

The Family Reads program helps fathers and their middle school age children with reading, literacy, and leadership development. It is an empowerment program that engages participants to connect with individuals and resources to help them lead better lives.

The State of Ohio Collective (EIN # 85-2593162) implements strategies and plans to solve institutional, structural, and systemic racism in the eight (8) key metropolitan cities across the state of Ohio: Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, and Youngstown in three interdependent pillars.
